Sinopse

ANTROPOCENO" é uma obra teatral performativa em processo aberto, interpretada por Lípari e dirigida por Douglas Lima, que inaugura o projeto de solos do Coletivo 302. A peça propõe uma discussão acessível sobre a hipótese científica do Antropoceno, a era de mudanças irreversíveis no planeta causadas pela humanidade. A obra traduz temas complexos como geopolítica, sociologia e geologia para um debate público simples, alcançando todas as classes sociais e níveis de conhecimento.

Synopsis

ANTROPOCENO is a performative theatrical work in an open process, performed by Lípari and directed by Douglas Lima, which inaugurates the solo project of Coletivo 302. The piece proposes an accessible discussion of the scientific hypothesis of the Anthropocene, the era of irreversible changes to the planet caused by humanity. The work translates complex themes such as geopolitics, sociology, and geology into a simple public debate, reaching all social classes and levels of knowledge.

TRANSCRIÇÃO DO ÁUDIO: Bom, pra falar um pouco sobre o Antropoceno, eu preciso voltar um pouquinho e falar também sobre as obras do Coletivo 302.
O grupo tem se debruçado a falar sobre Vila Paris e Vila Fabril, e Vila Socó, que são vilas operárias da cidade de Cubatão. E, durante os anos de pesquisa que o grupo se debruçou a respeito dessas vilas, nós fomos percebendo que tinham assuntos que sempre estavam numa escala maior, no qual a gente acabava não falando, sempre havia um recorte da cidade de Cubatão.

Então é aí, nesse momento, nessa curvinha, que eu, Lípari, um dos performers do grupo, o ator, começa a perceber que tem esse assunto que está em escala maior, está em escala global, que precisava ser discutido, precisava ser pautado.

Então, é uma pesquisa que se relaciona diretamente com esse tema das vilas, que eu comecei aqui falando, mas que ele vai ampliando para uma escala global.

Então, quando eu falo de antropoceno, eu tô falando sobre mudanças climáticas, tô falando sobre justiça climática, sobre mudanças geofísicas do planeta Terra, estou falando de sistema político e tudo que está aí nesses entremeios, nos quais a gente, muitas das vezes, não estamos inseridos para discutir esses assuntos.

Então, o Antropoceno é um pouco sobre isso, é um pouco sobre essa retomada para falar sobre nós mesmos e pautar sobre o que a gente quer para o mundo.

Transcription: Well, to talk a little about Anthropocene, I need to go back a bit and also speak about the works of Coletivo 302.

The group has been focusing on Vila Paris, Vila Fabril, and Vila Socó, workers’ villages in the city of Cubatão. During the years of research the group dedicated to these neighborhoods, we began to realize that there were topics always operating on a larger scale, which we ended up not addressing, because there was always a specific focus on the city of Cubatão.

So it’s at this turning point that I, Lípari, one of the group’s performers and an actor, begin to notice that there is a subject on a much bigger scale, a global scale, that needed to be discussed and brought into focus.

It is a research process that directly relates to the theme of the villages I mentioned at the beginning, but that expands into a global dimension.

When I speak about the Anthropocene, I am talking about climate change, climate justice, the geophysical transformations of planet Earth. I am talking about political systems and everything that exists within these intersections — spaces where, many times, we are not included in the discussion.

So Anthropocene is a bit about that. It is about reclaiming the space to talk about ourselves and to raise questions about what kind of world we want.

O Coletivo 302, fundado em 2014 em Cubatão/SP, utiliza processos colaborativos e intervenções urbanas para ressignificar a identidade e a ancestralidade de seu território. Com obras que unem teatro, performance e artes visuais, o grupo criou a Trilogia Zanzalá (Vila Parisi, Vila Fabril e Vila Socó). Em 2023, sua trajetória de valorização da memória socioambiental frente à herança industrial da cidade foi reconhecida no 33º Prêmio Shell de Teatro, na categoria "Energia que vem da gente".

Short biography

Coletivo 302, founded in 2014 in Cubatão, São Paulo, uses collaborative processes and urban interventions to re-signify the identity and ancestry of its territory. With works that combine theater, performance, and visual arts, the group created the Zanzalá Trilogy (Vila Parisi, Vila Fabril, and Vila Socó). In 2023, its trajectory of valuing socio-environmental memory in the face of the city’s industrial heritage was recognized at the 33rd Shell Theater Awards, in the category “Energy That Comes from Us.”
