Peça para os homens é uma peça baseada em fatos reais que amaríamos que fossem ficção. E não são. São notícias estarrecedoras que não param de chegar. Práticas brutais sobre o corpo da mulher. Arquivos Epstein, Casas Bahia, Processo Pélicot... Camila, uma menina de 8 anos, tem uma história pra contar. É a história da sua vida, a única peça que ela poderia fazer. Também para a artista Natasha Corbelino essa é a única peça possível agora.

Synopsis
Peça para os Homens is a play based on real events that we wish were fiction. But they are not. They are shocking news stories that keep arriving — brutal practices inflicted upon women’s bodies. Epstein files, Casas Bahia, the Pélicot trial…
Camila, an eight-year-old girl, has a story to tell. It is the story of her life — the only play she could possibly make. For the artist Natasha Corbelino, this is also the only possible play right now.

TRANSCRIÇÃO DO ÁUDIO: Uma peça baseada em fatos reais. Fatos reais que eu amaria que fossem ficção.
E que eu sei que vocês também amariam que fossem ficção. Arquivos Epstein, Julgamento Pelicô, Casas Bahia.
E tantas e tantas notícias aterradoras que chegam todos os dias sobre violência contra a mulher, contra as mulheres, contra o corpo das mulheres em todas as suas mulheridades.
Nessa urgência, de tratar desse assunto, vida e obra, escrevi uma dramaturgia onde Camila, uma menina de oito anos, conta a sua história, sua história de vida, e essa é a única peça que ela poderia fazer agora. Essa também é a única peça que eu, Natasha, poderia fazer agora.
Como performar um documento tão aterrador, como imaginar futuro para os corpos que sofreram violência?
Espero vocês.
Peça para os homens virem, peça para os homens assistirem, peça para os homens pararem. Venham! Venham, venham todos, todos, todas. Até já.

And so many terrifying news stories that arrive every day about violence against women — against women’s bodies in all their womanhoods.
In this urgency to address this issue — life and work intertwined — I wrote a dramaturgy in which Camila, an eight-year-old girl, tells her story, her life story. And this is the only play she could possibly make right now. It is also the only play that I, Natasha, could make at this moment.
How can one perform such a horrifying document? How can we imagine a future for bodies that have suffered violence?

Short biography
Stage artist and producer. Master’s degree in Performing Arts from UFRJ. White cisgender woman. Currently touring with 1 Peça Cansada (text, performance, direction), nominated for the Shell Award SP for Costume Design, and Fera (direction and dramaturgy with Carolina Ferman). Director of Corbelino Cultural since 2004.
Curator of editions of A Cena da Cidade, Pausa para Cena, Midrash, Coletivona Museu da Maré, Que legado and Que boca na cena? — the latter nominated for the Shell Award RJ for Innovation in 2017 and 2023. Co-curator of Olhares Críticos at MITsp with Leda Maria Martins in 2024.
