Desde o início, contamos uns aos outros histórias sobre o que significa ser humano, de onde viemos e a que pertencemos. Algumas histórias ainda hoje definem nossas vidas, outras foram esquecidas para sempre.

Parte de Nós resgata uma delas: uma ficção especulativa sobre um pássaro ancestral desaparecido. Entre memória, mito e futuro, um neto, na companhia da sua avó, reflete sobre a origem da vida, pertencimento e os modos possíveis de estarmos juntos em um planeta à beira do silêncio. (sons 3D)

Synopsis

Since the beginning, we have told each other stories about what it means to be human, where we come from, and what we belong to. Some of these stories still shape our lives today; others have been forgotten forever.

Parte de Nós revives one of them: a speculative fiction about an extinct ancestral bird. Between memory, myth, and future, a grandson, in the company of his grandmother, reflects on the origin of life, belonging, and the possible ways of being together on a planet on the verge of silence. Com base em Berlim e no Brasil, o diretor e ator Lucas Lacerda (Brasil) junto com o antropólogo e artista sonoro Daniel Weyand (Alemanha) desenvolve projetos que cruzam teatro, cinema, performance e investigação sonora. Com foco em arte site-specific, dirigem a residência e festival internacional ONSITE e criam experiências imersivas audiovisuais com uso de som binaural como linguagem narrativa. Seus últimos projetos foram realizados em cooperação com o MAM, Humboldt Universität e Brücke-Museum.

Short biography

Based between Berlin and Brazil, director and actor Lucas Lacerda (Brazil), together with anthropologist and sound artist Daniel Weyand (Germany), develops projects that intersect theater, film, performance, and sonic research.

Focusing on site-specific art, they direct the international residency and festival ONSITE and create immersive audiovisual experiences using binaural sound as a narrative language. Their most recent projects were developed in cooperation with MAM, Humboldt University, and the Brücke-Museum.
